Itinerary :-

Day 01: Arrival Cochin -
On arrival at Cochin airport you will meet Glorious India Tours representative and assisted be transfer to hotel. 

Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. 

Overnight, stay at hotel Cochin. 

Day 02: Cochin
Morning you will be drive to Kumbalanghi - lush green village of Cochin. It is declared as the first model fisheries and tourism village of India which has its own tradition and culture. Most of the villagers are engaged in agriculture and fishing. The village is 16 Sq. Km in area and surrounded by backwaters and paddy fields. Enjoy activities at village – Visit to crab farm, watching coir yarn making, visit agriculture farm and see different types of plantation, water harvesting ponds and biogas plants, Chinese fishing nets. 

Evening you will witness, “Kathakali Dance Performance”. 

Kathakali- is a highly stylized classical Indian dance-drama noted for the attractive make-up of characters, elaborate costumes, detailed gestures and well-defined body movements presented in tune with the anchor playback music and complementary percussion. It originated in the country's present day state of Kerala during the 17th century and has developed over the years with improved looks, refined gestures and added themes besides more ornate singing and precise drumming. 

Overnight, stay at hotel In Cochin. 

Day 03: Cochin –Munnar -
Morning you will be driven to Munnar hills, the green Paradise of Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. 

On arrival you will be transferred to hotel. 

Afternoon visit Tea Museum visit (closed on Mondays). Museum holds collection of old bits and pieces from the colonial era can be seen here. Have demonstration of tea production. Have Information on machineries, tea processing and tea tasting followed by Jeep for 01 hours in the Tea Plantation. Evening enjoy short walk through the Tea Plantation. 

Overnight, stay at hotel in Munnar. 

Day 04: Munnar –Thekkady -
Morning take short walk through the Tea Plantation and drive to Periyar (Thekkady). 

Thekkady -is one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close range. The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world. 

The spice plantation in Thekkady is one of the major spice plantations in Kerala. The spice plantations in Kerala are captivating farms to wander in, since different spices are cultivated in different sections of each plantation. Evening enjoy Kalaripyattu (Martial Art) show in local theatre in Periyar and walk through the market. 

Overnight, stay at hotel in Thekkady. 

Day 05: Periyar –kumarakom -
Early morning enjoy boat cruise on Lake Periyar best way to witness the wild life. 

Periyar National Park has altogether 62 different kinds of mammals have been recorded in Periyar, including many threatened ones. Periyar is a highly protected tiger reserve and elephant reserve. Other mammals found here include gaur, Bison, sambar (horse deer), barking deer, mouse deer, Dholes (Indian wild dogs), mongoose, foxes and leopards. 

Return for breakfast at hotel. 

After breakfast drive to Kumarakom. 

En-route have lunch at John’s Plantation Bungalow in Kinjirapally with visit of plantation. 

After lunch drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom village- is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanadu Lake in Kerala. It is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and is noted for its bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds visit. The Vembanadu Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, is also habitat for many marine and freshwater fish species and it teems with Karimeen, Shrimp and Prawns. It is a major tourist attraction. The gorgeous green of the fringed palms ripple in the blue waters and blend into wavelets. The people on the banks of Vembanadu Lake are generally peace-loving and follow a neat and healthy lifestyle. Their dressing is immaculate, usually spotless whites. The food mainly consists of rice and fish. Fish is a very important item in their menu for lunch and dinner. 

Enjoy the rest of the day in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala. Kerala is famous for its Ayurvedic Message and Yoga Centre. Evening enjoy sunset cruise on Vembanad lake 

Overnight, stay at hotel in Kumarakom. 

Day 06 Kumarakom –Alleppey (Houseboat) -
Morning you will be driven to Alleppey to embark on Houseboat. Cruise through the canals and visit local life and Snake boat that is used during snake boat race.Float in sheer bliss as Kerala's traditional Kettuvalloms or houseboats, styled as per the norms of tradition yet equipped with every luxury and every modern amenity offer the opportunity to relax on the serene waters of the Lake Vembanad. Stay, dine and truly experience the timeless beauty of life along the banks of Kerala. 

Note: Houseboats sail only during day time and come to halt in the night since local fishermen place fishing nets on the backwaters during the night.

Day 07: Alleppey –Cochin -
Morning disembark from Houseboat & you will be driven to Cochin 

On arrival proceed for the sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin – visit Dutch Palace or Mattancherry palace (remains closed on Fridays) is one of the oldest examples of the Portuguese architecture with oriental influence and is unique from the historical and architectural point of view, Jewish synagogue (remains closed on Fridays and Saturdays) is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. It was built in 1568 by the Malabar Yehudan people or Cochin Jewish community in the Kingdom of Cochin & Chinese fishing Nets. Rest of the day at leisure. 

Overnight, stay at hotel in Cochin. 

Day 08: Cochin-Onward
In time you will be transferred to airport for boarding onward journey flight.
