Itinerary:
Days 1-2 Delhi -
Namaste! Welcome to India.
Arrive Delhi airport and included transfer to your hotel. You can arrive at any time on Day 1 as there are no activities planned until the important welcome meeting as per your itinerary. Your tour leader (in case of group) / Glorious India Tours representative (for Private Tours) would have a meeting with you and discuss the itinerary in detail.
Delhi known locally as Dilli and by the official name National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT), is the largest metropolis by area and the second-largest metropolis by population in India. The metropolis incessantly buzzes with life, and a remarkable contrast exists between the historic Old City with and the wide avenues of New Delhi, built in the 1920’s and home to the government and business districts. Visit : Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Raj Ghat and India Gate.
Day 3 Agra -
Arrive Agra by Private Car en route visit Sikandra Fort – Tomb of Akbar. On arrival transfer to Hotel. Agra is the one of the prominent destinations of the World Tourism map with three heritage monuments -Taj Mahal and Red Fort. Agra is famous for handicrafts products such as Inlay work on Marvel, Leather Work, Footwear, Brass wear, Carpets , Jewellery, Zari and Embroidery work. Day 4 Orchha -
Board train for Jhansi, arrive and transfer to Orccha.
Orchha is a town in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. The town was the seat of an eponymous former princely state of central India, in the Bundeklkhand region. Orchha lies on the Betwa River, 15 km. from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. Visit Chanderi - Home of ancient Hindu and Jain temple ruins, fragments, statues, and idols in modern and medieval temples. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5 Khajuraho -
Proceed to Khajuraho by Private car.
Khajuraho is a village in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, located in Chhatarpur District, about 385 miles (620 kilometers) southeast of Delhi. One of the most popular tourist destinations in India, Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculpture. The name Khajuraho, ancient "Kharjuravahaka", is derived from the Sanskrit word kharjur meaning date palm.
Visit Western group of Temples and enjoy sound and light show.
Day 6 – 7 Panna National Park -
Post breakfast depart for Panna National Park in Private Car – A national park extended over an area of 543 Sqkm along the banks of river Ken, the parks topography is a magnificent one of deep gorges. Later enjoy morning and afternoon game drive in Shared Jeep. The park is inhabited with Tigers, Leopard, Wolf, the sloth bear, the cheetal, Indian Fox and host of lesser fauna. Enjoy 02 Game Drive (Morning and After noon). Overnight stay at Hotel / Resort
Important note: between 1 July and 30 September each year the National Park is closed.
Day 8 Allahabad -
Transfer to Satna Railway Station to board train for Allahabad
Arrive and transfer to Hotel for Overnight Stay.
Day 9 Sitamarhim -
Depart for Sitmarhi by Pvt Car, arrive and start sailing down the Ganges River to Vindyachal - is a town in Mirzapur District of Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. The city is a Hindu pilgrimage site, where according to mythology a part of Sati (an avatar of Durga) Born in Nand Yadav Family as sister of Lord Krishna.
Overnight stay at Camps.
Day 10 Sindra Island -
Post breakfast start sailing down the River with visit of Devi Temple
en route visit Mirzapur. The city surrounded by hills and famous for its artwork and craftsmanship. Arrive Sindra Island. Later visit Chunargarh Fort and Ramgarh Fort. Overnight stay at Camps.
Day 11 Varanasi -
Breakfast at Campsite and thereafter start sailing for Varanasi.
Varanasi is a city situated on the left (west) bank of the River Ganga (Ganges) in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, regarded as holy by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains, and is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. The culture of Varanasi is closely associated with the River Ganges and the river's religious importance.
Day 12 Delhi -
Post breakfast, depart for excursion trip to Sarnath and Chaukandi Stupa. Later in time transfer to Airport to board flight for Delhi. Later day free top unwind and relax.
Day 13 Delhi – Depart -
Post breakfast at hotel visit Akshar Dham Temple: arguably one of the most beautiful temple of India.
In time transfer to Int’l Airport to board flight for onward destination.
