Itinerary :-
Day 01 : Rishikesh – Hanuman Chatti – Janakichatti (By surface 260 Kms/07 hrs drive)
Pickup from Pre-decided point. At 0600Hrs drive to Jankichatti
Arrive Hanumanchatti at 1100hrs and post lunch proceed to Jankichatti.
Jankichatti is a small settlement in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. Situated at an altitude of around 8,770 ft above sea level, the village is noted for its thermal springs.

Day 02 : Janakichatti – Yamunotri ( 02 hours walking distance : Trekking)
Post breakfast at Hotel, depart for Yamunotri by foot en route lunch
Yamunotri: - The Shrine of Yamunotri, source of river Yamuna is situated in the direction opposite to Gangotri. The shrine of Yamunotri is one of the ‘four dhams’ of Uttarakhand. The source of Yamuna lies about 1 km. ahead at the altitude of about 4421 meters. Pilgrims do not frequently visit the source of the river as it is not easily accessible.
Yamunotri Temple:-The temple situated here close to the thermal springs is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. The temple was constructed in 1839 by Tehri Naresh Sudarshan Shah. However, since the place is highly prone to earthquakes, the temple has been damaged several times. It was built again in 19th century by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur. Even after that the temple has been renovated and reconstructed quiet a few times. Inside the temple is an idol of Goddess Yamuna carved in black stone that is mainly worshipped.

Day 03: Yamunotri – Uttarkashi – Lanka Bhairav Ghati
After breakfast at Hotel, check out our and depart to Lanka en-route visit Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi: - The holy town of Uttarkashi is set on the banks of river Bhagirathi at an altitude of 1158 meters. It is considered to have similar religious importance as Kashi. The famous Vishwanath temple here is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In front of the temple is unique Mahadev-ka-Vishal Trishul or Shiva’s Great Trident, made of eight major metals. It is believed Lord Shiva killed Vakasur with this trident. Other important temples are dedicated to Lord Parashuram, Lord Ekadash Rudra and Goddess Kali.Arrive and depart Temple visit.Post darshan and pooja, lunch and thereafter depart for Lanka Bhairav Ghati.Lanka Bhairav Ghati : - It is just a Transit point for Night Halt.Arrive and transfer to Hotel.Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04 : Lanka Bhairav Ghati – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (By surface 100 kms/ 03 hrs drive)
Early morning depart for Gangotri (0630hrs) Gangotri: - Gangotri, the origin of the sacred river Ganges, attracts tourists in large numbers every year. The confrontation with the daunting rivers and attempts to unravel the mysteries of the supernatural world are ubiquitous sights here. Along with the thrill of conquering nature, what one experiences here is the mystical aura that India is so famous for. The 18th century’s temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. According to another legend, Pandavas performed the great ‘Deva Yagna’ here to atone for the deaths of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. Day 05 : Uttarkashi – Gaurikund (By surface 250 Kms/ 07hrs drive)
After breakfast, checkout and depart for Gaurikund.
Gaurikund: - It is the last bus stop on the Kedarnath route. People from the tour to Gaurikund bathe in the hot water pond which is located here, before visiting the Gauri Devi temple. This temple is dedicated to goddess Parvati who meditated here to attain Lord Shiva’s attention. Gauri is another name for the goddess Parvati who is Lord Shiva’s consort. The place Gaurikund is also named after the goddess. Gaurikund is the trekking base to Kedarnath. The village has many hot water springs and a temple dedicated to the goddess Gauri.En route Buffet Lunch.Arrive Gaurikund and transfer to Hotel .Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 06 : Gaurikund – Kedarnath ( 15 kms trekking)
After early breakfast at 0500Hrs start journey for Kedarnath on Foot. En route lunch
Kedarnath: - Kedarnath is situated in the Uttar Kashi district of the northern state of Uttaranchal. According to legend, Lord Shiva wished to elude the Pandavas, who had come to seek penitence for having killed their kin in the battle of Kurukshetra. He took refuge in Kedarnath in the form of a bull. Bhima, one of the Pandava brothers, found Shiva amongst a herd of cattle. Having identified the meanest and most arrogant of the herd as Shiva, Bhima is said to have grabbed him by the hindquarters. What remains at the shrine in Kedarnath is the rear end of the bull, with the rest of its body scattered throughout the Garhwal. Shiva dived into the ground leaving behind him a hump on the surface. This conical protrusion is worshipped as the idol. Day 07 : Kedarnath –Gaurikund (Trekking 15 kms) – Pipalkoti (By surface 165 Kms/06 hrs drive)
After early breakfast breakfast depart for Gaurikund on foot.Arrive Gaurikund and depart for Pipalkoti.
Pipalkoti: - Pipalkoti, a scenic town, is situated ten km from Birahi in Chamoli District. It is located at an elevation of about 1,219 m. It nestles among lush green mountains and terraced fields. Pipalkoti provides delightful views of the snow clad mountains and green hills all around

Day 08 : Pipalkoti – Badrinath ( By surface 75 kms / 2.5 hrs drive)
Post breakfast depart for Badrinath en route lunch
Badrinath: - Cradled in the twin mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines, Badrinath along the left bank river Alaknanda. With the splendid Neelkanth mountains as the backdrop, it is an important destination on the scared itinerary of every devour Hindu. Once the spot was carpeted with ‘badris’ or wild berries and hence was famous as ‘Badri Van’ The present temple was built about two centuries ago by Garhwal Kings. It is a conical structure, 15 m. tall and has small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. There are 15 idols in the temple complex, each sculpted in black stone. The principal idol represents Vishnu in a meditative posture and is flanked by Nara-Narayan. Legend dates it prior to the Vedic age though it is believed to have been re-established by Adi Shankaracharya, an important Hindu saint in 8th century A.D. Arrive and transfer to Hotel. Srinagar: - The city of Srinagar forms a part of Pauri Garhwal District of Uttarakhand state in India. The city is situated on the banks of river Alaknanda. Srinagar was formerly the capital of Garhwal before the arrival of British in the region. Its name is drawn from Sri Yantra. Day 10 : Srinagar – Rishikesh ( By surface 100 kms/04 hrs drive)

Rishikesh: - Rishikesh, the gateway to Himalayas, is considered as the Mecca for Yoga and Meditation centers. Rishikesh nestled in the Tehri-Garhwal region of Uttaranchal abounds in natural splendor. The spectacle of the Ganga rushing through the Himalayan foothills is an awesome sight. Several temples dot the banks of the Ganga at Rishikesh. Rishikesh is located at a height of about 1360 feet above sea level. Post breakfast, checkout and in time transfer to Railway Station at Haridwar to board a train for Onward Destination.
